COLUMBIA, Tenn.- Five people from Columbia are charged with human trafficking. Investigators say Nathaniel Roberts used backpage.com to advertise women he controlled, at times violently.
He boasted on MySpace he earned $100,000 a year as a pimp.
In a federal affidavit, informants said they were forced into prostitution, through fear and intimidation by Roberts and four other men: Tavoris Roberts, Patrick Bullock, Shermain Aiden and Johnny Turrentine.
