NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fire damaged a West Nashville condo on Monday afternoon.
It broke out around 1:45 p.m. on Wynbrook Court. Firefighters said there was a lot of smoke and water damage, but fortunately it didn't spread to the adjoining condo.
"Because the firewall stopped it. Fireman went into the adjoining condo, checked the attic out, no damage whatsoever and there was quite a bit of heat and fire in this one so once again, good construction goes a long way," said George Hickey with Nashville Fire Department.
No one was home when the fire started. Firefighters believe some type of electrical shortage sparked the fire.
