NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 cash for clues called in to 74-CRIME that will help solve the robbery of the Shell Station at 4409 Harding Pike in West Nashville.

On Saturday, 01/08/11 at approximately 3 p.m., an unknown male white entered the business and went to the beer cooler. He went to the clerk to pay for the beer but he had his right hand under his sweatshirt, as if he had a handgun.

The suspect demanded that the clerk hand over the money or he would kill them. The clerk gave the money to the suspect and he ran out the door. The suspect may have left in a black vehicle and was last seen heading toward Green Hills on Woodmont.

The suspect is described as being a male white in his 40's, who had a mustache, and was wearing a green hoodie sweatshirt, big green ski gloves, and sunglasses.

Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspect who is involved with this particular robbery. There is someone out there who recognizes the suspect, and they need to share that information with Crime Stoppers so that this suspect does not end up hurting anyone.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is urged to contact the Nashville Crime Stoppers. If you have information which might help Metro police solve this robbery, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1,000 cash.

Crime Stoppers will also pay up to $1,000 for clues called in to 74-CRIME on any other major crime, wanted persons with felony warrants, and information resulting in the arrest and prosecution of persons with stolen property or drugs that amount to a felony.
