MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. - A former Montgomery County youth minister has pleaded guilty to having sex with a teenage member of his church group.
Jonathan Giles pleaded guilty to statutory rape.
Police said Giles had sexual contact with a then-17-year-old girl several times at her home. The girl attended Spring Creek Baptist Church, where Giles worked as a youth minister.
Investigators said Giles also sent inappropriate text messages to several other girls.
He will be sentenced in March.
