NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Protesters rallied at the state capitol on Tuesday to fight the potential repeal of health care reform.
The protest was led by the Tennessee Citizen Action organization. The group is hoping to send a strong message to lawmaker that they believe changes could harm folks right here in Tennessee.
Those in attendance said the repeal of health care reform will have a negative impact on the lives and the health of Tennesseans.
They're urging lawmakers not to take any actions on the state level that could possibly affect the people of Tennessee as well as the state budget.
Those with the organization say they plan to monitor developments and continue to push their point home to state lawmakers.
The vote to repeal health care reform is expected to take place Wednesday in the nation's capital.
