Posted:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Some Nashville teens are taking a stand against bullying with a Public Service Announcement.

STARS Nashville, or Students Taking A Right Stand, unveiled the PSA featuring teens and NewsChannel 5 meteorologist  Lelan Statom on Tuesday night.

It's all part of "No Name Calling Week."

STARS partnered with the Nashville Film Institute to put together the PSA, and it will be played for students throughout Middle Tennessee.

"It's really focused on there is help. There is hope and there is a solution. That's the focus of the Move to Stand Campaign," said Rodger Dinwiddie. "It's really getting kids to come off the sidelines and get involved in this issue to help take a stand for these young people who are in fact being bullied in thier school."
