Senators Send Fisher To Predators For Draft Picks

(AP) OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators are sending forward Mike Fisher to the Nashville Predators for a first-round draft pick and a conditional pick.

Fisher, who is married to country music star Carrie Underwood, has 24 points this season.

The forward has 167 goals and 181 assists in 675 regular-season games, all with the Senators. He was a finalist for the Selke Trophy as the NHL's top defensive forward in 2006.

Ottawa is last in the Southeast Division with 42 points. Nashville is five points behind first-place Detroit in the Central.
