County Lawyers To Ask For Dismissal Of Mosque Case

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Lawyers for Rutherford County in the lawsuit challenging construction of a mosque just outside of Murfreesboro plan to ask Chancery court judge this week to dismiss what remains of the case.

A judge denied a request for an injunction to stop construction of the mosque last year. At the time, opponents of the project vowed to continue with their legal challenge.
