House Fire Destroys Cash Memorabilia

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.- Several guitars, once owned by Johnny Cash were destroyed Thursday during a house fire.

The Hendersonville Star News reports a piano was also destroyed once played by this mother-in-law Maybelle Carter.

Songwriter Carl Knight now owns all of the property. Knight says the fire started when he was grilling out on his back patio. Items belonging to Loretta Lynn, Mel Tillis, and Jerry Lee Lewis were also lost.
