Governor's Budget Cuts Could Affect UT Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- In a matter of weeks, Tennesseans will finally learn exactly where Governor Haslam plans to make millions of dollars in cuts.

The cuts could impact higher education. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports layoffs are expected this summer at the University of Tennessee. They could have to cut anywhere from one to three percent.

The Governor will reveal his budget plans March 14th.
