Virtual Tour Of Medical Trade Center Plans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - As the new Nashville Convention Center is starting to take shape, we are getting a sneak peek at what the old one will eventually look like.

Once the new convention center is finished, the city wants to turn the old convention center into a Medical Trade Center.

A virtual tour of the project is now on YouTube. It begins as you walk through the doors and everything as you take a virtual tour of the new Medical Mart.

The first floor in the $1.5 million square foot building will house the registration and customer service area, as well as an exhibition hall that will even host international shows.

It's anticipated that 150,000 people will visit the first global healthcare market place.

Upstairs there will be meeting area, private offices, and training areas. There is also an education and innovation center on the top floor.

The developer of the Nashville Medical Trade Center has announced four tenants to make the building home.

The project was announced more than a year ago, but there has not been a date set as to when the facility will open.

The video made its premiere at an international trade show two weeks ago.

You can watch the virtual tour here.
