Crime Stoppers Crime Of The Week: Tuesday, March 8, 2011


NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that will help solve the murder of Darius Hamilton in the Bordeaux area of Nashville. 

On Monday, September 20, 2010 at approximately 4:20 a.m., the Metro Police Department received a shots fired call in the Queens Lane area. The responding officers went to 116 Queens Lane to investigate the call and found the victim deceased in the driveway. 

Information was received that a gray sedan was seen in the neighborhood at the time of the shooting. 

Earlier in the morning, the victim left Silverado's, on Murfreesboro Road, in a blue Chevy Tahoe. He stopped at the Waffle House at Murfreesboro and I-24. He then went to the Exxon at Dickerson Road and Maplewood before returning to his home on Queens Lane. 

Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying any suspects who were involved with the murder.  

Anyone who knows who the suspects are, are urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME, (742-7463), or text the word "CASH", then include your message to "CRIMES"(274637).

If the information results in the arrest, prosecution and indictment, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1,000 cash.
