NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It's one of the largest methamphetamine busts ever in Tennessee.

Mount Juliet and Metro Police recovered more than two pounds of crystal meth in a car at the Suburban Lodge in Hermitage. They also found marijuana.

Police arrested 30-year old Daniel Scheitlin and 25-year old Ronnie Arledge after watching them for several weeks.

Investigators said they've been making trips back and forth between Atlanta and Nashville.

They allegedly brought crystal meth and marijuana back with them, and then sold it in the Nashville area.

Police said meth is usually sold by the gram, so the recovery of two pounds takes a lot off the street.
