NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Hardin family from White House has been waiting for two years to bring home their adopted daughter from Armenia.
Saturday they finally got to do that. Karine John Hardin, 4, was born with Spina Bifida and lives with a shunt to drain fluid from her brain.
It became very important for the Hardins to get her to America when the shunt became infected.
At first, the family didn't think she would survive a commercial flight and were trying to get an air ambulance, but that changed thanks to Nursing Nun Mieke who flew to Tennessee Saturday night with Karine.
Karine will undergo surgery at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Sunday.
