Walk To Benefit Search For Missing Teacher Saturday

SHELBYBVILLE, Tenn. - A walk to raise awareness of the search for a missing teacher has been planned for this weekend.

The walk for Shelley Mook will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Shelbyville Municipal Airport.

Organizers said proceeds from the $5 entry fee will be donated to her family. Donations will be accepted.

The 13-mile walk will end at the Rutherford County line and participants are urged to come prepared.

Shelley Mook disappeared February 28 after she dropped off her 6-year-old daughter at her ex-husband's home.

Her burned out car was found in Murfreesboro that same night, where she had recently moved.
