Man Arrested For Raping 4-Year-old Girl

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police said an 81-year-old man was arrested for raping a 4-year-old girl. Officials said the alleged abuse by Robert Fisher took place in April.

Police investigated after receiving a call from the mother of the child on Tuesday. She reported that her daughter had been molested.

Officers determined the abuse took place in Fisher's home. The investigation revealed that he had raped the young girl and exposed his private body part to her on two occasions.

He was taken into custody and charged with rape of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Jackson police said DCS is assisting in the investigation.
