Brentwood Disaster Relief Team Headed To Alabama

Posted:

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - A Brentwood relief team is on its way to Alabama on Friday night to help out with tornado relief efforts.

The Mobile Medical Disaster Relief organization put out a call for water on Thursday, and within hours, they received much more.

They had enough food, clothes and medical supplies to fill small rental truck.

Their team, some of whom were in Haiti just Thursday, will spend about one week in Tuscaloosa handing out supplies.

"People are always amazed that people go, but that is the biggest challenge. All you have to do is go, the biggest challenge is getting off your chair and doing it," said

MMDR of Brentwood provides disaster relief in Haiti and Ghana and around the U.S. as needed.
