Woman's Brother Has Been Missing Since 2009

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The search for Holly Bobo is now more than two weeks old. Still, there is no sign of the missing, abducted 20-year old nursing student.

Bobo is just one of many people in Tennessee who just seem to have vanished and foul play is suspected in many of these cases as well.

Many miles away in West Nashville, there's another search receiving very little attention. Judy Duncan is still looking for her brother.

"You never have an answer. We don't have an answer as to where he is, if he's alive, if he's dead. Did someone kill him? Was there an accident?" Duncan said.

Metro Police said Michael Wayne Parsley was last seen April 10th, 2009 leaving a party on Indiana Avenue.

Cold Case Detective Chad Holman is working the case.

"There was some information that leads us to believe that drugs were involved and he left the location and never returned," said Detective Holman.

Judy said the last time she heard from Michael he made a phone call from a home on Kentucky Avenue. The homeowner said Michael was known as Uncle Mike and he'd come by here once in a while just to use the phone.

Many people in the neighborhood who know him fear Michael is dead. Judy fears they might be right.

"It's been two years and I don't think he'd do his family like that and just leave and not let us know something.

Judy said her brother has three grandchildren. A boy was born after he disappeared. She hopes maybe someday they'll get to know their grandfather or at least find out what happened to him.

"Even if he's alive. We just want to know," Duncan added.

Michael Parsley was 53-years old when he disappeared.

If you have information about the case, call Metro Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
