3 More Metro Schools Show High Radon Levels

Posted:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The latest radon test results show high levels of the cancer causing gas at three more Metro schools.

Metro started testing after NewsChannel 5 Investigates discovered school officials ignored warnings from the EPA about a serious radon problem.

Despite efforts to lower levels at Margaret Allen Middle school, every classroom tested was above what the EPA considers acceptable.

More than 20 classrooms at Donelson Middle school tested high.

And despite being a fairly new school, Croft Middle School had 17 classrooms with elevated levels.
