NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt's baseball team is the No. 6 overall seed for the 64-team NCAA Division I college baseball tournament.

The Commodores will host one of 16 four-team, double-elimination regionals that begin Friday. Vanderbilt opens against Belmont.

The other teams in the regional are Troy and Oklahoma State.

The winner of the double-elimination Nashville regional will play the winner of the Corvallis, Ore., regional in the super-regional round.
