NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt rising junior guard John Jenkins will attend USA Basketball's World University Games training camp.

The Hendersonville native accepted an invitation to attend the camp, which will be held July 29-Aug. 7 at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The camp will be used to select the 12-member team that will represent the United States at the 2011 World University Games men's basketball competition Aug. 13-23 in Shenzhen, China.

Jenkins led the Southeastern Conference in 2010-11 with an average 19.5 points and 3.1 3-point baskets per game per game and was named to the all-SEC team.
