NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Four high school grads are hitting the road in hopes cupcakes can help pay for college.
The Francois family owns the Cupcake Collection, a Germantown bakery full of homemade goodies.
To help out four of their employees, the owners are lending out their bakery on wheels so the grads can travel the east coast selling cupcakes and earning money for college tuition.
The guys plan to make their first stop in Atlanta and end their trip in New York City at the end of the month.
By the end of the trip, they're hoping to have made some dough and memories.
"Hopefully we've made a lot of money, and then we've gained a lot of experience, a lot of memories that we'll never get back. Because this is high school and these, you know, these are memories that we'll share for a lifetime," said employee Kevin Brandon.
