NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Nashville Predators will not re-sign veteran forward Steve Sullivan, who had played for the team since 2004.
David Poile, the Predators general manager, told The Tennessean newspaper that Sullivan will go down as one of the team's best and most popular players.
The 36-year-old Sullivan had a groin injury last season and played in 44 games. He now becomes an unrestricted free agent.
Sullivan told the paper there are no bad feelings and he's entering a new phase of his life.
