FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. - A Fort Campbell soldier could get the death penalty for allegedly killing his estranged wife and another woman.
Saturday, the Army formally charged Sergeant Brent Burke for the premeditated murder of Tracy Burke and her former mother-in-law from another marriage, Karen Comer, back in 2007.
The former Military Police officer is accused of shooting and killing both women. If he is found guilty, Burke could face life in prison or the death penalty.
