NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Rock-n-roll fans were in luck Sunday. Fans had an opportunity to witness what The Hard Rock Cafe calls, "Music's Greatest Memorabilia Collection." The Hard Rock Cafe is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. To mark the mile-stone, their Memorabilia Tour made a stop in Nashville Sunday.
The tour features items from the world's greatest rock legends and icons including Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Elvis and John Lennon. Some examples of the memorabilia: Buddy Holly's signature glasses, Jackson's unforgettable jacket in the video "Beat It," and Johnny Cash's handmade Grammer guitar.
"What better way to celebrate it than to take some of the most historic and most iconic and most fun memorabilia from different cafes, hotels and casinos from around the world, put them on this truck, and drive it around to folks around the county and show it to them for free," said Jeff Nolan, Hard Rock Historian.
