Police Investigate Hotel Robbery In Antioch

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a hotel in Antioch on Monday afternoon.

Police said officers were called out to the Holiday Inn on Crossings Place around 2 p.m. The desk clerk told police that a man wearing a camo shirt, khaki pants and a wig threatened to shoot the clerk if she did not comply with his demand for cash.

He was given cash, and fled on foot.

Police said employees were trying to figure out where the suspect might have gone, and found the man lying in the grass off Crossings Boulevard.

Police said the wig was off his head, and he had a buzz haircut. The gunman saw the employees, raised up, pointed his gun at them and threatened to shoot them. He then ran away.

Metro police launched their helicopter and sent K-9 units out to search the area, but turned up nothing.

Anyone with information about the gunman is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
