Free School Supplies At Mayor's First Day Festival

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Free school supplies will be handed out Sunday at the annual Mayor's First Day Festival.

It's being held at the Bridgestone Arena. On Friday, volunteers were setting up for the big event which features educational booths and musical entertainment.

The festival is free, but they request you bring a canned food item for Second Harvest Food Bank.

This is the 12th year for the event.

Metro Schools start back next Thursday.
