Mothers Arrested After Drugs Found In Babies' Systems

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Two Rutherford County mothers have been arrested after their babies were both born with drugs in their systems.

New mothers Courtney Hardin, age 20, and Sabrina Scott, age 25, were indicted by grand juries in separate cases after their newborns tested positive for opiates at Murfreesboro hospitals.

The women were charged with reckless endangerment.

Both women were scheduled to appear in court on August 15.
