MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- In college football, there's no preseason.  Just a month of practice and then you kick things off for real.   Three weeks before their opener at Purdue, Middle Tennessee was on the field Saturday for its biggest scrimmage of the fall. A 103 play run through.

Then, on Sunday, the Blue Raiders worked out their wrists and smiles signing autographs and taking pictures with hundreds of fans at the team's annual fan day.

The day helps generate interest in the program, and both fans and players love it.
