NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A one-of-a-kind job fair was held Friday that helps ex-offenders have a more prosperous future.
The folks at H.U.G.G.S. hosted a job fair, specifically for those who have served time and are ready to go back into the workforce.
Candidates were already pre-screened to make sure they've got all the legal paperwork they needed to start working.
On Friday, they came back dressed to impress and ready to interview.
"You have employers here and other agencies that can assist them in a lot of different services that they may be needing. Just the networking part, you know. Meeting these employers is very important for them," said Wes Beal with Operation Stand down.
The group H.U.G.G.S. specializes in helping ex-offenders.
