NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Firefighters had to be called out to the train tracks Sunday after a train caught fire and sent two workers to the hospital.
Investigators with the Nashville Fire Department told NewsChannel 5 the front engine caught fire on a CSX train. It didn't take long to get the fire under control, but the train had about five thousand gallons of diesel fuel, and it was hauling coal, so firefighters stayed on the scene for about three hours making sure it didn't spread.
Those CSX workers suffered only minor injuries and they're expected to be okay.
