MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - The University of Montana football team has a $500,000 guarantee for its game Saturday at Tennessee.
Athletic director Jim O'Day tells the Missoulian the school should clear about $350,000 after expenses, about the same amount as it would for a home game.
The Griz are sending 70 players, plus coaches and support staff to Knoxville, Tenn. The team leaves Friday and returns after Saturday's game, which kicks off at 4 p.m. Mountain.
The Montana-Tennessee game is being shown on pay-per-view television for $35 through Dish Network or $135 through ESPN Game Plan. The game is also being shown on ESPN3 for internet subscribers.
