KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray has been named the Southeastern Conference's offensive player of the week after a record-setting performance in a win against Cincinnati.

The sophomore from Kingsburg, Calif., is the Volunteers' first SEC offensive player of the week in nearly two years.

Bray threw for a career-high 405 yards and completed 34-of-41 for a school-record 82.9 percent in the 45-23 victory against the Bearcats on Saturday.

He threw for four touchdowns, extending his streak of throwing two or more touchdown passes in a game to eight, eclipsing Peyton Manning's team record streak of seven consecutive multiple-touchdown games.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Bray also ran for a touchdown, making him the only SEC player to have five touchdowns in a game so far this season.
