12 Tennessee, Kentucky Schools Named Blue Ribbon Schools - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A dozen schools in Tennessee and Kentucky were named on the list of 2011 National Blue Ribbon Schools.  

Three schools here in the mid-state made the list.

Hume-Fogg Magnet High School in Nashville, along with Page High School in Franklin were named Blue Ribbon Schools.

And in Kentucky, McNeill Elementary in Bowling Green is celebrating its Blue Ribbon achievement.

Blue Ribbon schools are schools that are either high performing or that have improved student achievement to high levels.
