Munchak: Titans Build Confidence By Beating Ravens

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Mike Munchak has talked often about how he thinks Tennessee could do something special in his first season as head coach. His Titans finally showed why he's so confident in their potential with a thorough beating of the Baltimore Ravens in their home opener.

Now he's cautioning that his Titans know they haven't arrived yet by any means.

Munchak said Monday the Titans are a hard working group of grinders and their 26-13 win over Baltimore only gives them more confidence in what they're doing as coaches and players.

Tennessee couldn't have looked uglier opening with a 16-14 loss at Jacksonville, but the Titans (1-1) rebounded with a very strong performance led by Matt Hasselbeck on offense and Cortland Finnegan on defense.

The Denver Broncos (1-1) visit Sunday at LP Field.
