SMYRNA, Tenn. - The case against a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and injuring her mother is in the hands of a grand jury.
Smyrna police said Charles Godspower confessed to shooting and killing 22-year-old Briana Brown on Friday as she tried to get away from him. He then turned the gun on her mother, Diana Glover. Glover was critically injured, and rushed to Vanderbilt.
