WASHINGTON, D.C. – NewsChannel 5 anchor Vicki Yates sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with the President of the United States at the White House in Washington, D.C.

The interview happened Thursday morning after White House officials extended a special invitation to Vicki to interview President Barack Obama.

The interview was part of the President's regional press interview program that brings select local media to the White House for the exclusive interview. It was the first interview of its kind for any media outlet in the Nashville market.

Vicki sat down with the President in the Diplomatic Reception Room and talked about everything from the economy to his run for a second term.
