TULLAHOMA, Tenn. - Officials responded to the scene of a small plane crash at the Tullahoma Airport Monday afternoon.
Kathleen Bergen with the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that one person was aboard the plane at the time of the crash and suffered minor injuries.
The plane climbed to approximately 100 feet during takeoff, at which time the plane lost power and crash landed at the airport.
Information from the FAA, listed the plane as a fixed wing single engine LOEHLE P 40. This plane is an ultralight replica of a World War II plane.
The plane was registered to Mayrice Hale, it is unknown if he was the pilot at the time of the crash.
