NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said they are looking for a robber who tried to rob a gas station by pointing his finger at the clerk.
Police said the suspect entered the Mapco on Andrew Jackson Parkway around 2:34 a.m. and prepaid for gas. After pumping the gas, he allegedly returned wearing sunglasses.
That's when he allegedly put his hand inside his hooded jacket and pointed his finger at the clerk as if he had a gun and demanded cash.
The clerk told him he knew he did not have a weapon, and the suspect fled empty handed in a black two-door Honda Civic hatchback.
Police said the robber appeared to be in his late teens.
