Dave & Busters Hiring For Re-Opening At Opry Mills

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dave and Busters is hiring dozens of people for its re-opening at Opry Mills mall in November.

The company said in a news release that it will hire approximately 230 people for all positions, including bartenders, servers, cooks and host staff.

The location has been renovated and expanded in the past year, and will feature a new layout, new games and an upgraded sports lounge.

A building permit for the $2.5 million dollar rehab project at Dave and Busters was issued in May.

The restaurant closed after the flood in May 2010. It will re-open in late November in time for the holidays. The entire mall is expected to open with new and returning stores in Spring 2012.

There will also be some new additions including Calvin Klein, Coach Factory Store, and the Lego Store.

The flooding in May caused more than $200 million in damage to the popular mall, but the insurance companies have only provided $50 million for the necessary renovations.

The only store that has reopened is Bass Pro Shops.
