MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP)- Middle Tennessee guard/forward Jordyn Luffman has decided to leave the Blue Raiders program.

Coach Rick Insell said in a statement on Wednesday the team wishes Luffman the best but will move on and continue to prepare for the upcoming season.

The 6-foot-1 sophomore from Lawrenceburg averaged 5.3 points and 3.7 rebounds while starting 19 of 30 games as a freshman in 2010-11. She scored a career-high 19 points against Troy on Jan.19th.

The Blue Raiders open the 2011-12 season with a trip to University Park, Pa., for the Lady Lion Classic Nov. 11-13.
