MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A federal court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by former Middle Tennessee receiver Garrett Andrews in April against the NFL and its individual teams alleging the league violated antitrust laws and created an anticompetitive market.
Andrews filed the lawsuit in April but had dropped the lawsuit. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson signed the order dismissing the lawsuit Thursday in Minneapolis.
The receiver played for Middle Tennessee the previous two seasons. He claimed he was eligible for the draft and the lockout caused him harm as the third antitrust lawsuit filed on April 5.
Andrews went undrafted in late April.
