Metro Schools Begin Fall Application Process

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro Nashville Public Schools began accepting applications on Monday for students wanting to attend magnet and optional schools.

More than 6,500 Metro students are expected to apply at all grade levels. There will then be a random drawing before the next school year to determine who gets in where.

The program was recently renamed the Fall Application Process rather than previous years when it was called a lottery.

Families can apply through December 2.
