NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Kids of all ages got a new place to play Friday when volunteers came to build a new playground at the McGruder Family Resource Center.
Over 300 volunteers arrived to help build the playground, and the whole build only took six hours from start to finish.
The new area not only has a playground for kids, but also a workout area for senior citizens, to help them stay fit and active.
Officials with the McGruder Family Resource Center said the project was assisted by the non-profit KaBoom and several other organizations who jumped in to help make it all happen.
