2 lbsGround sausage
1.5 T dry thyme
3 T + ½ t Italian seasoning
3 1/4 c of canned sliced packed in water apples (Drained and Chopped)
3 1/4 c apple pie filling (pureed)
1 lb cheddar cheese
3 1/2 t salt
1 t. Black Pepper
5 c Panko Bread Crumbs
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all the ingredients together until fully combined. Using a 1 oz. scoop, scoop the sausage mixture and form into balls.
Place the sausage balls on a greased baking sheet. Cook in the oven until a golden crust develops, around 20-25 minutes.
Honey Dijon Balsamic Glaze
10 oz. honey
2 T smooth Dijon mustard
1 ½ c white balsamic vinegar
salt & pepper to taste
cornstarch to thicken
Mix all ingredients, bring to a boil and thicken with cornstarch until glaze coats the back of a spoon.
