Tanker Truck Fire On Dickerson Pike Causes Traffic Issues

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A tanker truck fire caused a traffic issue on a major road in north Nashville.

It happened just before 8:45 a.m. Wednesday on Dickerson Pike near I-65. The fire was put out quickly.

The material in the tanker caught fire after a mechanical issue.

No one was injured.

Police had to shut down Dickerson Pike as they worked to contain the fire, but the road re-opened shortly after.
