NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A citizen's tip to Crime Stoppers has led Metro Police to an accused killer.
Metro Police arrested 22-year-old Victor Johnson Wednesday afternoon. Johnson was charged in a grand jury indictment with the first degree murder of Jeremy Green.
Police said Johnson, along with accused suspects Jose Hall and Maurice Hegman, went to Green's Murfreesboro apartment in January and asphyxiated him.
One of the suspects in this case also charged with first degree murder, Jose Hall, has been in jail since April on charges that he brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Kendrya Davis.
The third suspect in this case Maurice Hegman remains at large. Anyone with information as to their whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-Crime.
