CROSS PLAINS, Tenn. – A Robertson County man was arrested on child exploitation charges after disturbing images of a child were allegedly found on his cell phone.
Brian Wallace, 27, was jailed after more than a dozen cell phone videos and pictures were discovered that featured graphic images of an eight year-old girl.
Cross Plains police said Wallace knew his victim, and was in a position of trust that gave him access to the child.
The officer handling the case described the mother's reaction when she found the images on his cell phone.
"At first it was more of a shock, more of just being disturbed and disgusted. Going all the way to the point of anger that any parent would express when discovering something like this," said Cross Plains officer James Yates.
Wallace does not have a criminal record, and is not a registered sex offender.
Police were working to make sure there were no other victims.
