NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee wide receiver Nate Washington missed another day of practice with his injured left ankle but is expected to return.
Washington, who injured his ankle in the Titans' 23-17 win at Buffalo on Sunday, walked around the field on Thursday instead of practicing. Coach Mike Munchak said he thought Washington would return to practice Friday.
Cornerback Jason McCourty had his activity load increased at practice and will be re-evaluated Friday to see if he can be cleared from a concussion.
Linebacker Patrick Bailey, who tweaked his hamstring Wednesday, was out of Thursday's practice. Linebacker Barrett Ruud continues to be out with a groin injury, while center Eugene Amano returned from a sore knee and practiced fully on Thursday.
