NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The third man wanted in connection for a January murder and theft case turned himself into police headquarters Thursday.
Police said Maurice Hegman, 23 surrendered Thursday afternoon. Hegman was wanted in connection with the January 2011 robbery and murder of Jeremy Green.
Investigators said that Hegman and two other suspects, Jose Hall and Victor Johnson, went to Green's Murfreesboro Road Apartment asphyxiated him and stole his electronics equipment.
Hall, who has been in jail since April on charges that he brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Kendrya Davis was served earlier in the week. Tips to the Crime Stoppers hotline lead police to arrest Johnson on Wednesday.
Hegman has been charged with felony theft.
